Mani

My First Film as a Music Director. This was also a first film for Yograj Bhat ,Suri who are today the top directors of kannada film industry. It was an experience which I will never forget.I never compromised on what I wanted to give and make and I am happy that people listen to the songs even aftere a decade. I directed Shankar mahadevan to sing savira nadigellyella ,written by kalyan.Though I was not happy with the visual I was extremely happy to see my music on screen. Rajesh Krishnan and MD pallavi sang the duet Nana Hrudadalli. A super smooth melodious duet that one enjoys listening. Sadness filled every heart as we recorded Baradae, the pathos song of the film. Manu balakrishna's voice penetrated every heart in the studio and not an eye was left dry. Sambhramavo, one of my fav song sung by my friend Bappi Da with 3 times state award winner Nandita. A light romantic song that never failed to lighten the mood. Bengaluru thayee, a real comic tapang song where i had everyone singing it in the studio.Last but not the least Ratto Ratto, sung by Chitra. A small rhyme of the childhood and a rain of peace as we become adults.

Naavika

Navika, a film I did in 2012. There were totally 5 songs including a version of Telihode. Teli hode Naanu, a duet sung by Badri Prasad and Chaitra, an amazing blend of melodies and simplicity. Always relaxing to listen to.
Shankara, my rock tribute to lord shiva sung energetically by Hemanth of preetsae fame.
Usiraguve, a pathos like no other, slow and smooth and ligering and makes your heart sing along, beautifully rendered by Badri Prasad.
Then the last tapang sung by Jogi Sunitha and Hemanth. nice and pacy

Manasina Puttadalli

Manasina Puttadalli,A film which was done in 2012.
Everyone in this was a fresher.
Needed fresh and native sound.
Happy New Year sung by Chaitra,
The title track was sung by Badri Prasad.
Amazing voice and feel to the song.
A slow romantic song called Mettage sung by harsha,
and a pathos sung by Lakshmi Nagraj .
A another song called naditidae gadi by Reena Raju
which marks her as the first Heart tranplant receipient in the world to have sung for cinema.

Feel the world

Feel the world was a amazing project that took almost an year to complete.
These are songs by Rakesh Salian.
We met one day in a music store and during our conversation
he expressed his desire to bring out his album.
I invited him to the studio and started to work on the arrrangement.
It was an experience that cannot be explained by words.
Feel the world is the title track and each and every song on the album
right from the Like a River to NH17 were all arranged at a time when
I was going through a really tough phase of life.
Best is to listen to the tracks and judge for yourself.
